Privacy information for visitors to the Bond Battery static educational website.
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Overview
Bond Battery is a static educational website focused on battery technology. The site does not currently provide user accounts, accept payments, operate a newsletter or require visitors to submit personal information in order to read its content.
This Privacy page explains the limited technical information that may be processed when the site is accessed and how current site features handle data.
Information We Do Not Collect
Bond Battery does not currently operate:
- user accounts
- ecommerce checkout
- payment processing
- newsletter signup
- member profiles
- comment systems
- user-upload features
This does not mean that no technical data is ever processed. Hosting and delivery infrastructure may process request and security information as described below.
Server and Hosting Data
The hosting or delivery provider may process basic technical request information such as:
- IP address
- requested URL or path
- browser and user-agent information
- request timestamp
- security or abuse-related signals
This processing may occur for site delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, security and troubleshooting. Bond Battery does not claim to store or control every log created by infrastructure providers.
Site Search
The current site search runs locally in the visitor’s browser against a public search index. Search queries are not currently sent to a Bond Battery search server.
If this implementation changes, this Privacy page should be updated to reflect the new data flow.
Cookies and Tracking
Bond Battery does not embed advertising networks or behavioral advertising pixels. The site stores the visitor’s analytics choice in localStorage. When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and maintain session state.
Essential cookies or similar technical mechanisms may nevertheless be used by hosting or security infrastructure where necessary for delivery, abuse prevention or protection of the service.
Google Analytics loads with Consent Mode enabled. Until the visitor selects Accept analytics, analytics storage remains denied and Google may receive cookieless measurement and consent signals without persistent analytics identifiers. Accepting analytics enables first-party Analytics cookies. The Privacy choices control can be used to change the choice later.
Third-Party Services
Infrastructure providers may process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site. Bond Battery uses Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode to measure site usage. Full page-view, session, referring-source, approximate-location, and browser or device reporting is enabled after analytics consent. Google signals and ad-personalization signals remain disabled.
Google’s handling of Analytics data is described in Safeguarding your data and the Google Privacy Policy.
If the site later introduces advertising, embedded video, newsletter tools, contact forms, external search or payment processing, this Privacy page should be updated to describe those services and their data practices.
External Links
Bond Battery articles may link to external websites for technical references or further reading. Those websites have their own privacy practices, which Bond Battery does not control.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised when site features or data practices change. Material changes will update the displayed Last updated date. New analytics, advertising, account, form or newsletter features should be reflected here before or when they are introduced.
